About the recipe

Garlic bread is something I miss a lot. I don’t think it is the bread itself, but the nice taste of garlic and parsley, in combination with any bread, that is the thing.
But I found a recipe on a Swedish site that I had to try and it was really tasty.
I served it with a nice broccoli soup and it fitted like a glove.

Ingredients

Yields2 Servings
 1 cup of grated mozzarella
 0.50 cup of almond flour
 2 tbsp cream cheese
 1 tbsp garlic powder
 0.25 tsp salt
 1 egg
 1 tbsp melted butter
1 garlic clove (fine chopped/grated)Use more if you like lots of garlic.
 1 tbsp chopped, fresh parsley
 1 tbsp grated parmesan cheese

Instructions

1

Heat the oven to 392°F.

2

Put the mozzarella and the cream cheese in a glass bowl.
Put into the microwave for about 1 minute, until the cheese is melted.

3

Take the bowl out of the microwave and mix in the egg.
Add almond flour, baking soda/baking powder, garlic powder and salt.
Mix until it is a smooth dough.

Mix in garlic, parsley and parmesan cheese with the butter, and spread it on top of the dough.
